The Couch Crater

For today's post, I present to you...

The Crater:

The Culprit:

Phoebe. Acting innocent as usual.

The Solution:

The Dyson Absolute Animal DC17 (and mini turbine head for picking up pet hair). More on this lovely investment some other time.

The End Result:

A little cushion-fluffing doesn't hurt, either.
It won't stay like this for long, though. The crater will rear its ugly head (and hair) again in a couple days, courtesy of Phoebe.

Do you have a couch crater?

No, but I have pet hair. Everywhere. You know.

No craters, but many areas that require a generous helping of Febreze. Oh, and the sides of our couch that lift up to reveal a cup holder? Yeah, those things are hanging on by a thread, thanks to the furry ones. And due to hardwood floors, we are no longer in the possession of a vacuum, but the Dyson Animal looks amazing!

Yes, we either have two separate craters, or one huge one. Why can't they just lay on the seat like sophisticated kitties?

Yes, that would be nice! I've thought about buying a little kitty bed for her, but I think it would be a waste of money. Unless maybe I put it on top of the couch cushion.

Awe, your kitty is so cute. Currently my cat loves to lay in a cardboard box ( so weird) and chews up the rim of the box leaving cardboard confetti all over my carpet. Thank goodness for vacuum cleaners!

We constantly have a crater in our couch! It is usually from the laundry! Tara

Our dog is so tiny and rarely sheds, I do swear by Fabreeze! I bought him a doggie bed....he actaully sleeps in it - but cats have a mind all their own

we used to until we got new furniture. (that being said we still have the old furniture and the dog totally kills the cushions every time she gets on it, she thinks she's a cat). The new furniture is a cat only space and doesn't have a nice comfy back like yours. Which is sad. The pillows get squished by myself and my boyfriend but they fluff right back up (throw pillows).

ok, good. Glad to know we're not the only ones with a couch crater! Ours is courtesy of a 40 lb cocker spaniel though. aye yae yae. :) I've been meaning to get a new dyson- you like the animal? Let me know!

Yes - mine are from the kids. I guess the back of the couch is more comfortable than the seats!
How do you like your Dyson? I bought a cheap-o vacuum about a month ago and it is already dying - not sure if I should fork out the $$ for a Dyson.

Amy and Danielle - So far I'm loving the Dyson (but we also had a cheap-o vacuum before, so anything would have been better than that!). I think that it's going to be worth the extra money we spent on it, because hopefully we shouldn't have to replace it for a long, long time! I'm sure I'll write a post dedicated solely to the Dyson one of these days. :)
